The Lead Tendering Engineer plays a key role at Gevernova by leading global tendering efforts and ensuring consistent technical and functional standards across projects. This position combines deep technical knowledge with strategic thinking to support winning bids and deliver value-driven solutions.
What You'll Do
- Provide technical expertise and develop technical solutions (configuration, performance evaluation, economic analysis) according to pre-ITO (application) processes
- Maintain communication with commercial teams
- Develop deep understanding of market and customer economic value relevant to winning bid strategies
- Conduct technical analysis of customer needs: product specification and optimization
- Define scope (description), schedule, and cost for projects
- Review contracts, internal policies, and procedures
- Calculate performance and efficiency of plants, systems, and equipment
- Prepare technical specifications and cost elements documentation required for contracts
- Handle OTR (Offer Technical Response) section by customizing products to meet specific customer requirements
- Achieve in-depth understanding of a specific technical discipline
- Apply prior experience and technical knowledge to execute policies and strategies
- Demonstrate understanding of key business drivers and apply this understanding to own work
- Understand how own team's work integrates with other teams and contributes to the broader function
- Exercise judgment to propose alternative solutions beyond set parameters, under guidance
- Use prior experience and on-the-job training to solve simple tasks
- Apply technical skills and analytical thinking to problem-solving
