Manage critical accounts payable functions from invoice receipt through payment and reconciliation in a fully remote environment. As the AP Supervisor, you'll ensure accuracy and compliance across daily, weekly, and monthly financial cycles, supporting the integrity of financial reporting and vendor relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct manual and electronic reconciliations of invoices and account statements with precision and adherence to established protocols
- Process vendor payments efficiently, verifying compliance with internal controls and approval workflows
- Identify discrepancies within defined thresholds, prepare necessary adjustments, and obtain proper authorization
- Review and validate monthly reconciliation submissions for completeness and accuracy
- Support month-end closing activities by meeting deadlines and following financial best practices
- Document and report variances, providing full audit trails to internal and external parties
- Develop process enhancements to improve efficiency in reporting and reconciliation workflows
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain high-quality service delivery
- Assist in training new team members and supporting cross-functional initiatives
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounts payable with strong knowledge of expense allocations, workflow processes, and general ledger fundamentals
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macro development and maintenance
- Experience with general ledger systems, database platforms, and inventory management tools
- Excellent attention to detail and consistent accuracy under regular deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction with stakeholders
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals and process improvements
- Experience identifying inefficiencies and recommending practical solutions
Work Environment
This is a fully remote, full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. You’ll work independently while staying connected to a distributed team focused on operational excellence.
