About the Role

Role Overview

This position is responsible for managing and expanding on-premise accounts in the Naples, FL market, including restaurants, hotels, and bars. You will serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, promoting wine and spirits brands through consistent engagement, product knowledge, and tailored sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a structured, efficient route schedule to ensure regular and effective account coverage.
  • Visit each location to assess sales potential, monitor inventory, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Deliver professional product presentations that align company goals with customer needs, including placements on drink lists, back bars, and promotional features.
  • Conduct staff training sessions to educate teams on brand stories, cocktail pairings, and product differentiation.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist with restocking where permitted by law.
  • Track and follow up on receivables, processing returns and credits promptly and accurately.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Meet sales and distribution targets for supplier brands through data-driven planning and performance tracking.
  • Maintain brand visibility using approved point-of-sale materials and compliant display standards.
  • Support new account onboarding by collaborating on initial product orders and launch strategies.
  • Participate in joint sales initiatives with suppliers and respond to market changes with agility.
  • Ensure all interactions with the public and handling of alcohol products follow responsible practices and safety guidelines.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by leadership to support sales operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in sales or beverage distribution.
  • Minimum of two years in a sales role, preferably in beverage alcohol or FMCG.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and presentation software for reporting and client-facing materials.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance are required.

Work Environment

This is an onsite role based in Naples, FL, requiring daily travel to local accounts. The position operates in a fast-moving sales environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and performance accountability.
