GetYourGuide is looking for a Lead Strategic Partnerships Manager to establish, maintain, and grow partnerships with leading brands in EMEA. Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, EMEA, this individual contributor role is pivotal for growing GetYourGuide's market share in its fastest-growing region.
What You'll Do
- Strategically expand our EMEA portfolio while owning, managing, and growing a multi-million dollar portfolio of enterprise accounts and industry relationships.
- Build a strong pipeline of exceptional partnership prospects that offer the growth potential to grow EMEA GMV contribution by 5X.
- Contribute to the design of, and execute, playbooks, sales, and growth systems needed to penetrate strategic verticals.
- Develop strong internal partnerships and collaborate cross-functionally to maximize revenue opportunities to improve deal progressions.
- Be accountable for selling to existing customers and net new customers.
- Work closely with Legal, FP&A, Partner Tech, Supply, Accounting, Product, and Brand and Growth Marketing Teams to build feasible partnership structures, ensure compliance with contractual terms and achievement of partnership milestones, and maximize the impact of the GetYourGuide brand.
- Regularly communicate strategies, impact, learnings, and next steps to GetYourGuide leadership via weekly, monthly, and quarterly business updates.
- Represent GetYourGuide by interfacing with business leaders in an acute business setting and at industry events such as conferences, trade shows, and through participation in local trade associations.
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of experience working in sales, key account management, or business development functions at high-growth marketplace, SaaS, e-commerce, airline or online travel tech companies.
- Connected, with a good network and reputation.
- Proficient and have an understanding of affiliate marketing and Strategic Partnerships.
- Good business acumen and commercial instincts, specifically in contract negotiation and relationship management.
- An understanding of online marketplace dynamics, with demonstrated success in driving growth, tangible results, and KPI improvements.
- Entrepreneurial attitude to win despite all challenges, thriving in a fast-paced environment, a growth mindset, and learner's attitude.
- Highly collaborative, with outstanding communication, negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal skills with a strong win-win mentality and natural ability to build relationships.
- Data-driven, results-oriented, and accurate.
- Excited to spend up to 30% of your time traveling.
- Model GetYourGuide’s in-person first value and work from the office in Berlin, min 3+ days per week.
- Proficiency in English is a requirement.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency in French or Spanish is a plus.
