Atticus is hiring a Lead Recruiter

Join a small, impactful recruiting team as Lead Technical Recruiter, shaping the future of a company dedicated to removing barriers between people and the support they need. Reporting to the Head of Talent, you’ll take ownership of end-to-end hiring for technical roles, working closely with engineering leaders to define hiring needs and execute strategic talent searches.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for engineering positions, from initial sourcing to offer close
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to refine role criteria and build targeted search plans
  • Develop robust pipelines by identifying and engaging both active and passive candidates
  • Ensure a smooth, respectful interview process with timely communication and feedback
  • Manage multiple high-priority searches without compromising on quality
  • Strengthen the recruiting team through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and process improvements
  • Identify and implement enhancements to recruiting workflows, tools, and systems

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 3 focused on technical talent
  • Proven track record supporting senior engineering stakeholders in high-expectation environments
  • Strong analytical skills with a commitment to process efficiency and clear communication
  • Deep dedication to creating a positive, respectful candidate journey
  • A drive to build inclusive, high-performing teams aligned with company values

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience as the senior recruiter on a team, guiding less experienced peers
  • Familiarity with Ashby as a recruiting platform

Work Environment

This is a fully remote role with company-funded quarterly in-person gatherings, including offsites in Los Angeles. You’ll work independently while staying closely connected to a small, thoughtful team committed to meaningful impact.

Compensation

Base salary range: $150,000 – $210,000. Equity is included. Total compensation reflects experience and scope of responsibility.
