The Customer Service Engineer is responsible for overseeing customer service operations in Hyderabad, focusing on Consumer and Farm segments. This role ensures efficient handling of warranty claims and customer complaints from both OE and Replacement channels, with a strong emphasis on technical accuracy and timely resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage warranty processes within defined timelines, ensuring prompt responses and clear communication with customers
- Apply in-depth knowledge of tire performance, manufacturing, and real-world operating conditions to assess and resolve technical cases
- Collaborate with Business and Service teams to align customer support with operational goals
- Deliver daily status updates and management information system reports to the Regional Manager
- Work closely with Field Engineering on mileage evaluations, campaign activities, and emerging field issues
- Perform root cause analysis on product-related concerns and lead corrective actions
- Monitor competitive landscape, including product offerings, policies, and technological advancements
- Support fleet trials and follow up on new product development initiatives with customers
- Strengthen relationships with OEM workshops and Replacement channel partners through reliable, high-quality service
- Lead tire safety programs, maintenance awareness campaigns, and customer engagement efforts
- Supervise third-party technical teams, providing real-time guidance for warranty support
- Engage regularly with field, state, and regional service leaders to enhance coordination and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering, and bring 3–6 years of relevant experience. Background in tire service or OE workshop operations—on either the parts or service side—is highly valued.
Work Environment
This is a local-city role based in Hyderabad, requiring regular on-site presence and field coordination.
