GE Vernova is hiring a Lead Project Manager to serve as the technical leader for complex customer projects. In this role, you will develop scope, manage schedules, and provide technical leadership while overseeing a team.
What You'll Do
- Develop scope of work, plan schedule, and monitor engineering activities for customer projects.
- Provide technical leadership and interface with Proposal Management, Cost Estimating, Partners, Customers, GEV Product Engineering, Sourcing, and Engineering sub-contractors.
- Perform direct people management including staffing and performance development.
- Use judgment and propose solutions outside set parameters for complicated manufacturing processes.
- Act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and lead small projects with low risks.
- Convey performance expectations and handle sensitive issues.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience in gas power or power generation.
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing EPC contracts.
Nice to Have
- Established project management skills as a certified PMP.
- Strong technical presentation skills using Primavera 6.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems using SAP.
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
