Incitec Pivot is seeking a Lead Engineer to lead the technical engineering function for Process/Chemical Engineering across the DNAP Asia Pacific region. You will be responsible for the development, governance, and continuous improvement of engineering standards and best practices, with a strong focus on process safety, risk management, and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Lead and govern process engineering standards and critical controls across DNAP operations.
- Provide technical assurance and SME input for business‑critical projects and investigations.
- Drive process safety and improvement initiatives across ammonia, nitric acid, NAAN, and emulsion plants.
- Interpret legislation and ensure engineering compliance with regulatory and DNL requirements.
- Review process risks, HAZOPs, investigations, and site risk registers to ensure effective controls.
- Partner with site engineering, operations, and capital project teams to support safe and reliable plant performance.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
- Professional Engineer status (RPEQ / CPEng) or the ability to obtain.
- Extensive experience in chemical, mining, or heavy industry manufacturing environments.
- Strong process safety capability, including HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and Process Safety Management.
- Proven experience providing technical governance, assurance, and continuous improvement across complex operations.

- Compensation: $185,000 + 12% Super + Annual Bonus.
