The Lead Delivery Engineer plays a key technical role in delivering and maintaining Airline Network Planning and Scheduling systems for clients. Following the sale, this position leads implementation efforts, provides expert troubleshooting, and ensures systems are fully operational at customer sites. The role requires a strong foundation in airline operations, with a focus on network design and scheduling workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver post-sale technical support, including system installation, integration, diagnostics, and resolution of complex issues
- Travel to customer locations—up to 50% of the time—to deploy solutions, conduct training, and ensure smooth adoption
- Develop and lead technical training programs tailored to customer needs, in coordination with internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and support teams to align deliverables with contractual obligations
- Diagnose system failures and coordinate corrective actions efficiently
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, building strong relationships that support long-term client success
- Work across departments to support service delivery goals and enhance product implementation processes
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years’ experience in the airline industry, specifically in Network Planning or Scheduling functions
- Proven background with airline planning and scheduling technologies
- Undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
- Strong technical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing demands, and perform under pressure
- Demonstrated teamwork, organizational skills, and customer-focused mindset
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently as required
