About the Role

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in shaping technical and commercial proposals for pump systems across international markets. Your primary responsibility will be interpreting customer specifications, evaluating technical requirements, and selecting appropriate equipment to meet project needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed technical selections and define scope of supply in alignment with customer expectations.
  • Analyze project specifications and identify any deviations from standard offerings.
  • Respond to technical inquiries from clients and support clarification meetings as needed.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure all quotation requirements are met.
  • Establish accurate costing models and deliver competitive pricing and delivery timelines.
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal tools and processes used in proposal development.
  • Support occasional domestic and international travel for customer engagement and project discussions.

Qualifications and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering is required, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience. You should have a solid background in rotating equipment, particularly centrifugal pumps, and be skilled in evaluating complex technical and commercial proposals. Proficiency in MS Office is essential, and experience with ERP and CRM platforms is a strong advantage.

Strong organizational abilities, clear communication skills, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment are critical. Candidates from other engineering disciplines may be considered if they demonstrate relevant experience with rotating machinery or engine systems.
