Societe Generale is hiring a Lead Business Analyst to join the Credit Risk (CR) function within the Global Solution Centre (GSC) in India. This role is central to performing business analysis, coordinating with stakeholders, implementing OKRs, and driving transformation programs to support our global objectives.

What You'll Do

Perform Business Analyst activities within the CFT/RRR teams for BU/SUs in the GSC India.
Demonstrate an advanced level of functional and domain expertise in Credit Risk.
Coordinate seamlessly with key stakeholders on functional domains and partner with Product Owners to create synergy.
Align and implement CFT & CFT/RRR OKRs to realize global and GSC goals.
Create detailed business analysis by outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions.
Ensure accurate and consistent delivery of committed artifacts by adhering to agile development methodologies.
Develop new testing scenarios to enhance process efficiency.
Optimize existing business processes to meet stakeholder expectations.
Provide L3 functional support to application end users and production support teams.
Ensure adequate documentation of delivered artefacts.
Define project catalogues with stakeholders for upcoming Production releases.
Promote a culture of Agility, Client centricity, Efficiency, Commitment & Innovation.
Drive and contribute to efficiencies and continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead and participate in global CFT/RRR Transformation programs.
Ideate and collate feedback on GSC and CFT/CRE strategy to convert into actionable plans.
Ensure realization of CSR objectives, including diversity and citizenship programs.
Embody and promote the culture of ‘OneCFT’ amongst peers and stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

6+ years of experience as a Credit Risk Business Analyst.
Expertise in key regulations like BASEL II/III, IFRS9, CRR2, CRR3, Large Exposure.
Effective communication and strong interpretation skills.
Knowledge of SQL for data analysis, including writing basic queries for data retrieval.
Understanding of the test life cycle.
Understanding of Credit Risk Models and Metrics: PD, LGD, RWA, ECL, etc.
Knowledge of Credit Risk: Calculation, Reporting, Data Management, Modelling.
Understanding of Key Terms: Credit Risk, Country risk, Counterparty risk, rating process, defaulting.
Ability to understand Business Requirements (BRD) and convert BRD to Functional Specifications (FSD).
Ability to work with developers to implement requirements, validate them, and obtain sign-off.
Able to manage production environments (24/7).
Effective interpersonal skills in a multi-cultural team environment.
Strong stakeholder engagement & influencing skills in a matrix organization.
Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail, and process & change management capabilities.
Agility in thinking and actions.
Strong negotiation, verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Nice to Have

Understanding and experience working on Agile methodology.
CFA or FRM certification is an added advantage.
Experience working on automated tools.
Ability to understand and follow agile practices (Grooming, prioritization, planning, demo).
Ability to mentor and groom team members.
