About the Role

Clarios is seeking a Large Fleet Sales Manager to drive growth and profitability for our fleet sales division across North America. In this remote position, you will be responsible for implementing strategic sales initiatives, identifying new business opportunities, and leading a team to achieve ambitious targets.

What You'll Do

  • Implement sales strategies to achieve fleet sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and analyze market trends.
  • Work with leadership to develop accurate business forecasts.
  • Integrate the business model and opportunities into the CRM tool.
  • Establish and build client relationships in line with the growth plan.
  • Manage, guide, and support the fleet sales team.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance team sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure sales.
  • Analyze market conditions and competitor activities to inform strategy.
  • Prepare and present sales reports to senior management.
  • Work closely with marketing, finance, and other departments to align with business objectives.
  • Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely delivery of fleet vehicles.
  • Develop and manage the fleet sales budget, monitoring expenses for cost-effective operations.
  • Travel 40-50% throughout North America.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or fleet industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.

Nice to Have

  • An MBA is often preferred.
  • Previous telematics sales experience.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools like Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Skill in predicting future sales trends and setting realistic targets.
  • Expertise in negotiating deals and contracts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions.
  • Effectiveness in working cross-functionally to ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Compensation range: $90,000 to $160,000 per year.
