Fehr Graham (a Trilon Group company) is hiring an Associate Landscape Architect in Atlanta. This role focuses on creating people-centered, data-driven designs for public spaces like parks, streetscapes, and greenways. You'll contribute to design and manage production in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.
What You'll Do
- Be a design contributor and production manager on corridor and recreation projects.
- Work on concept-level design efforts like Complete Streets or greenway corridor studies.
- Develop detailed construction documents and cost estimates for parks and open space.
- Manage production or projects.
- Participate in fieldwork and public meetings.
- Think at a variety of scales from systems-level down to specific sites.
- Collaborate with planners, engineers, graphics designers, outreach specialists, and data analysts.
What We're Looking For
- Passion for serving clients with climate-friendly infrastructure and mobility solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- 7 or more years of experience in a consulting environment or public entity.
- Experience in active community design and planning.
- Demonstrated understanding of street and trail design principles and general project management.
- In-depth knowledge of site grading principles and general construction techniques.
- Ability to critique and provide design direction on photo-renderings, concept sketches, and construction drawings.
- Ability to read, understand, and utilize technical drawings, maps, and other similar documents.
- Ability to guide staff members and manage internal team expectations.
- Strong initiative and ability to capitalize on opportunities.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple simultaneous projects.
- Ability and willingness to travel.
- Excellent professional ethics, leadership skills, accountability, and decision-making capabilities.
- Good presentation skills.
- Proficiency in an enterprise-wide resource planning and project management tool.
Nice to Have
- Licensed Professional Landscape Architect.
- Experience managing projects for both private and public clients.
- Experience writing or presenting white papers or providing expert-level conference presentations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Civil 3D, Photoshop, ArcGIS, SketchUp, or GoogleEarth GIS.
- In-depth knowledge of NACTO, MUTCD, and ADA requirements.
- Experience using Deltek Vision.
- Active participation in industry-relevant professional associations and committees.
- Member of ASLA.

- Compensation: $80,000 - $102,000 annually
- Flexible, hybrid work schedule (work from home three days per week).
