Freelance, fully remote role based in France, focused on end-to-end production of vertical short-form drama series using AI-powered tools. Responsibilities
- Manage 1–2 mini-series simultaneously, each consisting of 10–15 episodes of approximately one minute plus a trailer
- Collaborate with an in-house AI copilot to ensure character continuity, assist in casting decisions, and generate promotional trailers
- Independently direct, edit, and finalize all episodes from start to finish
- Develop original scripts with strong narrative pacing, including effective hooks and escalating tension
- Work closely with AI Content Creators, technical teams, fellow directors, and executive leadership
- Engage in ongoing learning and application of AI content creation techniques
Requirements
- Minimum of four years of experience directing or showrunning short-form narrative video content
- Demonstrated ability to craft compelling scripts with attention to minute-by-minute storytelling, cliffhangers, and audience engagement
- Prior experience working with vertical drama platforms
