Cleveland Clinic Health System was looking for a Laboratory Sales Manager I - Cleveland Territory

Cleveland Clinic Health System is looking for a Laboratory Sales Manager I to manage the Cleveland territory and support our mission by expanding laboratory services. In this role, you will establish long-term relationships, develop strategic growth plans, and oversee the sales cycle from lead generation to contract execution.

What You'll Do

  • Proactively generate new business opportunities.
  • Bring in support from leadership, such as the Medical Director or Director of Sales, when needed.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of understanding of the Reference Laboratory product line.
  • Manage the sales process from initial opportunity through client conversion.
  • Plan overall sales and service activities effectively.
  • Develop and implement action plans to increase customer base, volume, and market presence.
  • Interface with Project Managers, Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams to meet customer requirements.
  • Contribute to sales meetings, presentations, and training.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant laboratory methods and technologies.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Medical Technology, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Three years in a laboratory or healthcare environment with success in sales, marketing, or customer service.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Ability to travel extensively using all forms of major public transportation.
  • Excellent human relations, management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform well in multifunctional environments with a customer focus.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to function in a diverse environment while adhering to Cleveland Clinic policies and providing professional client direction.

Work Mode

This is a local, in-person position based in Cleveland.
