FrieslandCampina Ingredients was looking for a Key Accounts Manager

FrieslandCampina Ingredients is hiring a Key Accounts Manager to develop and execute sales strategies for regional wholesalers in France. You will drive growth through indirect sales channels and build strong, long-term customer partnerships to contribute to our mission of contributing to a better world.

What You'll Do

  • Co-build the France commercial plan with national accounts, bringing a regional perspective to maximize growth.
  • Co-develop the Market Segment strategy and design and implement the Sales strategy for regional wholesalers.
  • Proactively deploy the indirect sales strategy by developing as many operators as possible through distributors.
  • Work closely with the operators team through joint events with distributors like trade shows and co-negotiations.
  • Build optimal coverage in affiliates of wholesaler groups and independent wholesalers to enhance physical availability.
  • Increase mental availability through strong digital & data partnerships with customers.
  • Build an optimal portfolio architecture.
  • Identify and capture market developments, opportunities and ways to innovate.
  • Improve and embed commercial processes like forecasting, opportunity management, contracting, and value-based selling.
  • Build a clear, strong, and long-term customer preference with strategic customers.
  • Align with relevant stakeholders within the broader FrieslandCampina organization.
  • Ensure contracting fulfils legal requirements.
  • Deploy a Joint Business Planning approach with strategic customers to strengthen partnerships.
  • Steer on financial parameters (volume) and leading KPIs (average net price, discount level, A&P level).
  • Manage the SG&A budget.
  • Drive implementation and improvement of digital tools like Salesforce to support commercial processes.
  • Bring relevant input to your line manager and other key account managers.

You will belong to the Sales Department and report to the Sales Manager for Regional Accounts.

This position follows a local-country work mode and is based in France.
