Thomson Reuters is looking for a Key Account Manager for Reuters Breakingviews to manage and grow a portfolio of B2B subscription accounts. This is a quota-carrying role where you will use a consultative sales approach to drive new business, maximize client satisfaction, and achieve revenue targets.
What You'll Do
- Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B subscription accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities to expand the Reuters Breakingviews subscriber base.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans and sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers.
- Collaborate with internal teams across Breakingviews and Reuters Professional to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Accurately forecast revenue and provide regular pipeline and performance reporting.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify new sales and upsell opportunities.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Present complex information effectively, adapting communication style to suit various audiences.
- Contribute to the development of new principles, concepts, and strategies for the business unit.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrable experience selling B2B subscriptions or publishing products.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of high-performing, cross-functional teams.
- A consultative sales approach, with the ability to understand and anticipate client needs.
- A rigorous and analytical approach to the market, including prospective opportunities and renewals.
- Experience building and executing account strategies for enterprise clients.
- Adept at managing complex sales cycles and building relationships with senior stakeholders.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
