Stoneridge Electronics, Inc. is hiring a Key Account Manager - Off-Highway to build, strengthen, and manage strategic partnerships with North American customers in the off-highway sector. In this role, you will analyze each customer's business strategy, challenges, and value chain to identify and pursue strategic opportunities for Stoneridge.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, acting as Stoneridge's voice at the customer.
- Operate as the lead point of contact for all commercial, program, and quality management matters for your accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to develop winning strategies.
- Grow the current portfolio of business, ensuring profitability and identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of Stoneridge solutions according to customer needs.
- Act as the 'Voice of Customer' in internal discussions, conveying customer needs and technology trends.
- Drive the quotation process with support from product line management.
- Document and track customer open issues, driving their resolution with engineering and operations.
- Drive contract negotiations with support from the Legal team.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of Key Account Management or Senior Sales experience with a track record in industrial, construction, or agriculture industries.
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills.
- Extensive experience in team building, coordination, collaboration, and detailed strategy planning and execution.
- Willingness to travel up to 50%, mainly domestic with some international travel expected.
Nice to Have
- MBA.
- Additional experience with, or knowledge of, the material handling and aftermarket distribution industries.
Team & Environment
This role reports to the Vice President, Off-Highway & North America Sales.
