Solenis, a 2024 US Best Managed Company, is hiring a Key Account Manager Associate to create value for a major customer near Longview, WA. In this role, you will manage assigned accounts with a primary focus on maintaining revenue, price capture, and improving gross profit through technical service.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily management of safety, quality, delivery, and inventory of applications at a large key customer.
- Support and perform standard work to ensure safe and effective treatment programs, generate reports, maintain inventory, order materials, and ensure equipment uptime.
- Perform data analysis on program performance.
- Assist with customer technical issues, bring issues to customer attention, and work with managers to develop corrective action plans.
- Build strong customer relationships.
- Pursue growth and swap opportunities to maximize customer value.
- Participate in technical training opportunities for advancement of skills and knowledge.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
- Ability to build client relationships easily.
- Analytical ability and great problem-solving skills.
- Presentation skills and ability to convey product value.
- High-level organizational skills for maintaining sales of complex product portfolio.
- Self-confidence to support persuasion and sales efforts.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry 50 pounds.
- Must live within 1 hour of Longview, WA.
Nice to Have
- Chemical or Paper Engineering degree strongly preferred.
- 2-5 years of paper industry experience, mill or vendor side strongly preferred.

Work Mode
This is a local position requiring travel to customer paper mill sites. You must live within 1 hour of Longview, WA.
