KIPP NJ is hiring a K-12 Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

About the Role

This role is responsible for leading financial planning, budget development, forecasting, and reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility and strategic decision-making across a network of schools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the annual budgeting process in coordination with school and central teams
  • Develop and maintain financial forecasting models to support strategic planning
  • Analyze financial performance against budget and prior year results
  • Produce regular financial reports for leadership and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with school leaders to monitor site-level budgets
  • Identify financial trends and provide actionable insights
  • Support grant and funding compliance reporting
  • Assist in the development of financial dashboards and performance metrics
  • Partner with accounting to ensure accurate financial data
  • Evaluate the financial impact of proposed programs or initiatives
  • Maintain financial planning templates and tools
  • Ensure consistency in financial assumptions across departments
  • Support audit preparation with timely and accurate documentation
  • Streamline financial reporting processes for efficiency
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed by leadership
  • Assist in long-term financial sustainability planning
  • Monitor enrollment trends and their financial implications
  • Work cross-functionally to align financial plans with operational goals
  • Train staff on financial systems and reporting tools
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies

Compensation
