About the Role
This role is responsible for leading financial planning, budget development, forecasting, and reporting to ensure fiscal responsibility and strategic decision-making across a network of schools.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting process in coordination with school and central teams
- Develop and maintain financial forecasting models to support strategic planning
- Analyze financial performance against budget and prior year results
- Produce regular financial reports for leadership and stakeholders
- Collaborate with school leaders to monitor site-level budgets
- Identify financial trends and provide actionable insights
- Support grant and funding compliance reporting
- Assist in the development of financial dashboards and performance metrics
- Partner with accounting to ensure accurate financial data
- Evaluate the financial impact of proposed programs or initiatives
- Maintain financial planning templates and tools
- Ensure consistency in financial assumptions across departments
- Support audit preparation with timely and accurate documentation
- Streamline financial reporting processes for efficiency
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed by leadership
- Assist in long-term financial sustainability planning
- Monitor enrollment trends and their financial implications
- Work cross-functionally to align financial plans with operational goals
- Train staff on financial systems and reporting tools
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies
Compensation
