The Junior Depositary Officer will support clients by reconciling investor commitments, verifying asset ownership, and validating key constitutional documentation. At FundRock Management Company S.A. (Apex group), you'll work within a fast-paced, supportive environment, collaborating closely with the Luxembourg-based Depositary team to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Ensure that the confidentiality of depositary customers is protected at all times.
- Ensure that the integrity of structures to which depositary services are provided are protected at all times.
- Monitor, manage and report to the Depositary Manager any potential conflicts of interest.
- Ensure that all transactions are captured and risks identified and consistently monitored.
- Support the Luxembourg Depositary team in providing depositary deliverables.
- Analyze funds in advance of take on to assist a full understanding of their purpose, structure and activity in order to formulate effective and appropriate monitoring programmes in compliance with the AIFMD.
- Perform recordkeeping duties in accordance with the AIFMD, working with in-house service specialists as required.
- Perform oversight duties in accordance with the AIFMD, working with in-house service specialists as required.
- Assist with ad-hoc Depositary projects.
What We're Looking For
- Good organization skills: the ability to plan and organize yourself to meet all Depositary deadlines, and to be objective at all times.
- Background in Banking and Finance/Business Administration.
- Autonomous and solution-oriented working style.
- Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level as minimum).
- Ability to adapt to fluctuating workloads and the analytical demands of the role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical skills and affinity with figures.
Nice to Have
- Additional languages, for example, German and French would be a plus.
- A good understanding of AIFMD and operation alternative investment funds.
