Ash & Harris Executive Search is hiring a Business Development Representative to drive new client acquisition and expand market presence for document scanning, conversion, and data capture services. This hybrid role combines strategic prospecting with consultative selling to deliver modern document management solutions.
What You'll Do
- Prospect and engage new clients in assigned territories through calls, meetings, and presentations.
- Conduct discovery sessions to identify document management challenges and propose tailored solutions.
- Represent a full suite of scanning/conversion services and workflow automation technologies.
- Deliver compelling presentations to key decision-makers via MS Teams, in-person, or web platforms.
- Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets while managing a robust pipeline.
- Analyze market potential and develop territory growth strategies.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular activity reports.
- Stay current on industry trends and document processing innovations.
What We're Looking For
- College degree or equivalent B2B sales experience in document management or scanning services.
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience.
- 3-5 years selling scanning/conversion services or ECM software.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Strong executive presence with ability to engage C-suite stakeholders.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness for local travel to meet clients.
