Ash & Harris Executive Search represents an established independent mortgage lender seeking a Mortgage Loan Officer for the East Coast (Virginia). You will originate mortgage loans and guide borrowers through the entire process, managing a pipeline and building key relationships.
What You'll Do
- Originate mortgage loan applications through referrals, networking, and self-generated leads.
- Guide borrowers through the loan process, analyzing financial information to determine eligibility.
- Manage a pipeline of loans, ensuring timely processing from submission to closing.
- Stay updated on mortgage products, regulations, and market trends.
- Build and maintain strong client and referral relationships.
What We're Looking For
- Active NMLS license in good standing.
- Minimum 18 months of recent, successful experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer with proven loan production.
- Strong knowledge of mortgage products (Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA) and lending regulations.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Proficiency in loan origination software (LOS) and CRM systems.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
