InterSPA Gruppe is looking for an IT Business Consultant for POS and Payment Solutions to spearhead the design, rollout, and maintenance of our retail technology systems. You will play a central role in shaping and supporting our cash register systems, vending machines, and digital payment infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Lead the conception, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of cash register systems, vending machines, and digital payment solutions.
- Manage comprehensive local projects from initialization and planning through to final roll-out.
- Take responsibility for sub-projects as part of major customer mobilizations for cash register and ordering systems.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for operational units and external PoS partners.
- Handle second-level support, manage updates, and oversee software distribution across all clients with thorough documentation.
- Participate in project meetings to ensure clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the sales department with tenders and conduct on-site evaluations and commissioning.
What We're Looking For
- Successfully completed vocational training in an IT-related field.
- Several years of hands-on experience with Point-of-Sale systems, network administration, and ideally IT support.
- Proven expertise in implementing IT projects, specifically with PoS hardware and software and mobile devices like RFiD, MiFare, and Legic card systems and digital menu displays.
- Practical experience collaborating with cash register and payment service providers such as Ayden First Cash and Payone.
- A solid understanding of interfaces between different IT systems.
- An independent working style, high customer orientation, strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Negotiation-proof German and very good English skills in both spoken and written form.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of cash register, ordering, and merchandise management systems such as MBS5, Delegate, or Knips.
- Experience migrating server-based applications (e.g., Asia, SQL, Access) to cloud environments.
