Your mission In this role, you craft and implement communication strategies within leadership, change, and strategic communication frameworks. Your objective is to support and empower leaders across all levels to communicate effectively, engage their teams, and cultivate a transparent, positive organizational culture – especially during transitional periods. You'll assume ownership, drive, and independently coordinate significant change communication initiatives while collaborating closely with the Transformation Office and Sandvik Coromant Management Group. You'll manage strategic projects including Mergers & Acquisitions integrations and crisis communication alongside PR, while contributing to team performance by reinforcing our organizational narrative and supporting cultural engagement. What you do: - Develop and manage strategy and change communication plans collaboratively with key stakeholders - Mentor leaders and functional teams on communication planning, storytelling, and presentation techniques - Generate strategic content for articles, interviews, events, and leadership forums - Serve as primary communication contact for management teams and key stakeholders - Manage leader communication channels and frameworks, including toolboxes and global meetings - Support culture and strategy engagement initiatives with HR and Transformation Office - Coordinate crisis communication planning and execution in partnership with PR - Represent Sandvik Coromant in group-level communication forums This position is located in Stockholm or Sandviken, Sweden, supporting a hybrid working model combining remote and on-site work. You'll report directly to the Head of Internal Communications. Your profile You possess a university degree in communications, management, business, or journalism – or equivalent professional experience. Demonstrated expertise in strategy, leadership, and critically, change communication within global organizations is essential. Understanding of crisis communication and change management methodologies like PROSCI and ADKAR is required. Strong project management capabilities and proficiency in AI and digital communication tools, particularly PowerPoint, are expected. You're strategic, proactive, and confident engaging with senior leadership, demonstrating holistic thinking and rapid business comprehension. You blend analytical thinking with creativity, adopting a comprehensive perspective to identify innovative solutions. Exceptional interpersonal skills enable you to build trust and guide teams through transformational periods. You excel in dynamic environments, prioritize effectively, and maintain a solutions-oriented approach.
