Every is hiring an Inspector-A TEAM to maintain product quality and a safe, collaborative production environment. This role is central to ensuring our finished goods exceed customer expectations through detailed inspection and active teamwork.
What You'll Do
- Promote a safe working environment by understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Assure finished goods meet customer expectations by finding and classifying defects as critical, major, or minor.
- Alert the Operator to all defects so they can be addressed.
- Verify the specifications sheet to ensure packaging parameters are being met.
- Safely perform required rework and housekeeping duties, keeping the work area clean.
- Clean the entire line area when a line goes down.
- Promote teamwork by assisting in housekeeping, organizing, packing, transporting and erecting corrugated, and performing rework.
- Safely assist the Operator in grinding bottles during machine startup, clearing jams, and housekeeping around the machine.
- Safely assist the Maintenance department with housekeeping on and around machines down for planned maintenance.
- Evaluate and take appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment.
- Inspect work areas for unsafe acts and conditions.
- Effectively use verbal and written communications.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by performing sweeping, cleaning, and sorting duties.
- Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
- Ability to perform work involving continuous lifting, bending, reaching, and twisting.
Nice to Have
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
