Travelers is hiring an Inside Sales Executive, Personal Insurance. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing a sales territory of Independent Agencies, optimizing growth potential, and exceeding profit objectives within a culture of innovation and collaboration.
What You'll Do
- Manage and develop a sales territory consisting of Independent Agencies of varied profiles.
- Optimize the growth potential of agency assignments and meet year-over-year growth and profit objectives.
- Utilize Travelers sales tools within a consultative sales framework.
- Develop competitor intelligence and collaborate with team members in the office, region, home office, and business center.
- Apply agency diagnostics and segmentation to identify opportunities to cross-sell Travelers products.
- Influence agents to quote and sell Travelers products to customers and execute sales strategy to grow market share.
- Complete strategic plans for agency assignments to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Hold agency owners accountable for agreed-upon actions and motivate agents to succeed.
- Initiate marketing strategies/processes to attract and retain new business.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, driving results through regular contact and agreed-upon plans.
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of professional and influential work experience.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree.
- Three years of sales experience.
- Industry experience.
- Solid knowledge of Personal Insurance products.
Technical Stack
- Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Travelers' computer systems and PIs platform
Team & Environment
You will collaborate with team members in the office, region, home office, and business center.

- Compensation range: $79,400.00 - $130,900.00
