INNIO is looking for a Market Research Specialist to analyze global markets for data center applications within our power generation business. This role focuses on capturing and assessing market potential, with a strong emphasis on the US market. You will provide compelling data to evaluate demand and identify sales opportunities for our Jenbacher gas engines.
What You'll Do
- Provide fact-based content to assess data center market segments in existing markets and evaluate new opportunities.
- Analyze regional and local regulations for power generation, including supporting legislation and emission limits.
- Understand and interpret economic, political, and industry trends.
- Lead as a project manager, collaborating with cross-functional teams to map development opportunities.
- Monitor the competitive environment, visualize strategic moves, and track financial performance.
- Develop marketing communication formats like digital newsletters for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support sales in early-phase commercialization and represent INNIO at industry conferences.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in communication, marketing, or product management.
- Good knowledge of the power generation market, specifically the Data Center Market.
- Skills to understand complex relationships of incentive schemes and their impact on INNIO's business.
- Advanced editorial skills with strong technical expertise to articulate complex content.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (including database management and pivot tables).
- Ability to interact smoothly at all organizational levels with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proven track record in organizing, assessing, and prioritizing tasks.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional organization with geographically diverse businesses.
- Team player mentality and willingness to constantly improve.
- Fluent in English.
- Willingness to travel approximately 30% of working time.
- Living in Houston, TX or willingness to move there.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, marketing, or engineering.
