Baptist Health is hiring an Information Technology, Director of Revenue Cycle Applications to lead the strategy and optimization of systems that support patient access, billing, coding, and claims across the health system. This role partners with operational, IT, and financial leadership to align technology with revenue cycle goals.
What You'll Do
- Lead strategy, implementation, and optimization of revenue cycle systems.
- Partner with operational, IT, and financial leaders to align technology with revenue cycle goals.
- Ensure compliance and drive efficiency in revenue cycle processes.
- Manage vendor relationships.
- Oversee system performance to support accurate and timely reimbursement.
- Identify and implement technology-driven improvements to maximize revenue integrity and operational effectiveness.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve revenue integrity and reimbursement.
- Oversee IT project activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
- Manage capital and operating budgets.
- Delegate effectively and ensure accountability.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in clinical applications support.
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role overseeing service delivery and support functions within a healthcare or similar complex environment.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology or a related field.
- One or more current, industry standard role-specific certifications (Cerner, Epic, etc.).
Technical Stack
- Revenue cycle management (RCM) systems and modules.
Team & Environment
You will manage application teams, analysts, and vendor partners.
Work Mode
This role is onsite at the Baptist Health Resource Center.
