Altru Health System is hiring a Revenue Cycle Assistant to be a primary point of contact for patient financial services. You'll manage front desk interactions and incoming calls, maintaining confidentiality and delivering exceptional support. What You'll Do
- Manage all front desk onsite patient interactions by researching, resolving, and documenting all issues and concerns.
- Perform account analysis and educate guarantors regarding payment issues on outstanding patient balances.
- Address patient complaints, financial concerns, and other issues in a courteous and professional manner using available resources.
- Review, verify, and evaluate demographic and third-party payer information related to patient accounts.
- Receive and respond to patient, professional, and clinical inquiries in person, providing accurate processing and billing support.
- Explain insurance benefits, payments, claim submission, billing, and general Business Office procedures.
- Resolve problems, concerns, insurance, coding, and billing questions as the primary contact for customers and staff.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Nice to Have
- An Associate's degree in Business or a related field.
