RPM, a Modivcare subsidiary, seeks a Revenue Cycle Coordinator responsible for streamlining billing processes to ensure timely service compensation through comprehensive system management and collaborative payor relationships. The role involves executing multiple claim management functions, including eligibility verification, periodic submissions, claim reprocessing, resolution of rejected claims, account investigation, explanation analysis, and interactions with insurance/governmental payment entities. You will... - Manage telephonic system interfaces by logging and preparing to handle incoming communication requests. - Investigate eligibility across digital platforms, gathering essential documentation for electronic claim processing. - Execute revenue cycle procedures from charge initiation through outstanding accounts receivable resolution. - Track accounts receivable related to service authorizations to guarantee payment. - Confirm eligibility prerequisites before payer billing and document insurance verification. - Create monthly charging cycles and transmit designated claim groups. - Support investigation and resolution of claim rejections via clearinghouse or payer platforms. - Leverage payer portals or direct communication for claim corrections and supplementary information. - Comprehend and integrate specialized data including modifiers, payer-specific requirements, authorization criteria, and coding standards. - Implement corrections to patient information, charges, adjustments, and payments, routing to appropriate departments when necessary. - Manage reporting assignments through organizational applications. - Handle rejection workgroups for prompt electronic data interchange claim resubmission. - Support problem resolution by clarifying issues, researching solutions, facilitating implementation, and escalating unresolved challenges. - Utilize multiple system applications for inventory management. - Identify and document payer complications, communicating with Revenue Cycle leadership. - Conduct billing function audits to minimize potential fraudulent or incorrect billing. - Update and cross-reference billing procedure codes. - Provide expert guidance across Revenue Cycle systems to support learning and process enhancement. - Maintain SOX compliance within system protocols. - Execute resubmission projects and supplementary daily reporting. - Participate in additional assigned responsibilities. We are enthusiastic about candidates possessing: - High School Diploma requirement. - Zero years of experience. - Equivalent educational/experiential combination. - Exceptional detail-orientation and precision. - Fundamental understanding of claims and billing processes. - Proficiency in computer software and data entry. - Superior written/verbal communication skills. - Collaborative team performance capabilities. - Basic problem-solving competencies. - Effective time management and organizational skills. - Customer-focused approach. - Self-motivated with independent and collaborative work abilities. - Healthcare systems knowledge, particularly Medicaid/Medicare Advantage environments. - Capacity to manage sensitive information confidentially. - Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
