Daikin Applied is looking for an HVAC Project Developer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will work alongside construction project developers to learn the process of taking a prospective project from concept to construction. You'll gain hands-on experience developing scope of work, qualifying and obtaining proposals, managing and generating proposals that include energy analysis, and working on preliminary project designs.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with a team to develop all aspects of the scope, project development schedule, and costs for customer proposals.
- Work with the sales team, customer, and project manager to help scope, estimate, and sell the project.
- Create project scheduling using tools like MS Project, MS Excel, MS Visio, or Bluebeam to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
- Create and maintain the accuracy of the forecasted cost, time, and customer satisfaction at the completion of the project development phase.
What We're Looking For
- Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in Construction Management, HVACR Engineering, Technology, or Energy Management.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Must be able to travel 50% of the summer.

- Residing within 300 miles of the Plymouth, MN office or a corporate Daikin location.

Benefits & Compensation
- Hourly compensation range: $24/hr - $28/hr.
