Cushman & Wakefield is looking for a Patient Services Assistant to join the Environmental Services Department at Werribee Mercy Hospital. In this patient-facing role, you will provide essential cleaning duties, food and beverage services, and direct patient support, primarily on night shifts, ensuring a clean, safe, and supportive environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide patient-centric cleaning duties, food & beverage services, and patient support.
- Ensure Victorian Public Health cleaning and Food Safety standards are consistently met.
- Work within established policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and the public.
What We're Looking For
- A Health Services Assistant Certificate III, an equivalent qualification, or be working towards completion.
- A current Food Handling Certificate.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work effectively within a team environment.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand Patients' diet codes.
- A commitment to following policies and procedures for safety.
- Evidence of, or being in the process of obtaining: a current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
