Burlington Stores is looking for a District Asset Protection Manager to develop, teach, and lead asset protection, shortage control, and safety programs across all stores in a designated district. You will be instrumental in training teams, driving inventory improvements, and ensuring a secure environment for customers, associates, and merchandise. This is a key leadership role within our rapidly growing brand.
What You'll Do
- Foster and maintain cross-functional partnerships with district, regional, and store management, HR, legal, operations, and inventory control teams.
- Audit financial, merchandising, and operations divisions of assigned locations, providing actionable analysis and ensuring follow-up to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic direction and leadership in implementing asset protection programs while training store teams to align with company objectives.
- Oversee shortage control staffing across the district, managing payroll and expenses in alignment with budget.
- Conduct and manage internal and external investigations, internal investigation interviewing, external apprehension programs, audits, and shortage reduction initiatives.
- Monitor and maintain physical security controls and systems including CCTV, burglar and fire alarms, electronic article surveillance, and emergency systems.
- Build strong relationships with law enforcement and legal professionals to interface on criminal and civil matters.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years of retail asset protection experience, including district and/or multi-unit management.
- Familiarity with asset protection programs and software including Think LP and Secure 5, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Travel is required to all stores within the designated district.
Nice to Have
- Experience conducting internal investigation interviews and managing external apprehension programs with a proven ability to successfully resolve incidents.

Work Mode
This is an onsite role requiring travel to stores within the designated district.
