Lineage Logistics is hiring a Warehouse Generalist to join our team in Haines City, FL. In this essential role, you will be responsible for moving products and materials using material handling equipment, ensuring all safety standards are met. What You'll Do
- Put away palletized units by lifting forks for placement into racks above floor height.
- Pick palletized units out of rack locations and set them up for outbound shipment.
- Choose and record materials, weight, counts, and condition of food items via a Radio Frequency (RF) system.
- Load and unload materials on and off pallets, skids, or other lifting devices.
- Read and follow computerized work orders to determine product quantities, types, and warehouse locations.
- Document and report any damages or discrepancies to supervisors.
- Pack, seal, and label materials for shipping using RF scanning equipment; securely wrap all palletized stock.
- Complete a daily forklift maintenance and check sheet.
- Monitor battery charge, leave equipment at designated storage areas, and may assist in cleaning batteries.
- Alert leadership of any product issues and follow directions to resolve them.
- Help clean and organize the warehouse throughout and at the end of your shift.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to identify products by reading, interpreting, and scanning or manually inputting pallet IDs.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to understand instructions in the country's official language or as defined by Lineage Logistics.
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20°F/-25°C or as high as 100°F/37°C while wearing provided protective gear.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs./18 kgs.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and shift, including weekends if needed.
- Must be comfortable with various noise levels, which can be loud at times.
