About the Role

Western Digital is hiring an HR Learning Tech Consultant, Organizational Development to consult with business stakeholders and deliver outcomes for their Learning and Performance technology needs. You will contribute to the execution of the People Development & Engagement Center of Excellence strategy, ensuring our technology investments drive business-driven results.

What You'll Do

  • Consult on system functionality and capabilities for Learning and Performance platforms, delivering scalable solutions.
  • Provide governance and guidance to Business Unit Administrators within our centralized administration team.
  • Review and test regular SaaS platform vendor updates to maximize our technology investments.
  • Partner with IT to develop innovative, scalable solutions supporting our learning and performance strategies.
  • Support the HR team in delivering employee lifecycle programs via our technology platforms.
  • Establish cross-functional relationships to integrate the voice of the business and learners into the Talent Development & Inclusion Strategy.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and HR partners to identify regional needs, co-create solutions, and integrate learning into the broader employee experience.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to improve content engagement and impact.
  • Identify unmet needs and contribute to the roadmap for new learning initiatives.
  • Contribute to the technology review and governance approach for our sub-administrators.
  • Assess platform releases and provide insight on deployment to end users.
  • Manage cross-functional initiatives that achieve our enterprise learning strategy goals.
  • Build learning and development experiences supporting integrated employee touchpoints like career development and performance management.
  • Role model and advocate for a modern learning mindset centered on experiences, exposure, and education.

What We're Looking For

  • 6-8 years of experience in an HR or Learning function.
  • Proven experience administering and supporting unified talent technology like an LMS or Performance Management system.
  • Proven experience implementing or supporting functionality releases from an enterprise SaaS Learning, Performance, or HCM system vendor.
  • Proven experience using a consultative approach to translate business needs into user-centered experiences via HCM systems.
  • Proven experience working with cross-platform data integrations and feeds.
  • Proven experience delivering reports and dashboards via native platform reporting and data visualization tools in an HCM system.
  • Proven experience supporting tier 2 or 3 tickets via a ticketing platform and escalating to vendors.
  • Proven technical prowess in HCM platforms, including HRIS systems.
  • Proven project management experience with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and measure progress against competing priorities.
  • Proven experience analyzing and visualizing data to demonstrate learning program effectiveness.
  • Strong analytics, communications, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate, influence, resolve conflict, and collaborate across cultural and professional backgrounds.

Nice to Have

  • Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Organizational Learning Design, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Information Technology, or Computer Science.
  • Certification in Cornerstone on Demand, Workday, or similar platforms.
