Optum Tech, part of UnitedHealth Group, is looking for a Home Health Account Executive to execute our sales strategy and increase market share. You will build relationships within the healthcare community, educate on our services, and operate within a defined budget to bring care to more people.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain relationships with target referral sources to support company growth.
- Implement, manage, and document consistent sales activities with multiple contacts at each referral source.
- Understand customer needs to provide customized solutions and earn new or continued referrals.
- Expand the healthcare community’s use of our services by increasing awareness of our solutions.
- Serve as a liaison between referral sources in the community, our patients and families, and our home health agencies.
What We're Looking For
- Current Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
- Demonstrated excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated solid computer skills in Microsoft Outlook and CRM software.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 2+ years of successful home health or hospice sales experience.
- Understanding of home health and hospice coverage issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to professionally and effectively interact with a variety of individuals.
- Creativity and idea generation for marketing and community education.
- Effective and persuasive communication skills.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to maximize cost effectiveness in the use of resources.
