Compose.ly is looking for a Higher Education Content Writer – Non-STEM Programs to support graduate-level academic programs in fields like Arts & Technology and Business. You will focus on interview-based storytelling to connect academic programs to industry relevance, faculty expertise, and the needs of prospective students.
What You'll Do
- Conduct interviews with faculty, students, and alumni to gather insights and transform them into compelling narratives.
- Write clear, accessible, and engaging content that highlights program benefits and real-world applications.
- Partner with the client’s marketing team to refine tone, structure, and messaging.
- Ensure accuracy when representing academic voices and industry contexts.
- Contribute to shared content formats while tailoring pieces to program-specific goals.
- Incorporate standard SEO practices where relevant.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in higher education writing, journalism, or brand storytelling.
- A strong record of narrative-driven, interview-based writing.
- Excellent research and editorial skills.
- Comfort interviewing academic and professional experts.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines independently.
Nice to Have
- Experience in higher education marketing, graduate programs, or university communications.
