The Hematology Clinical Account Manager (CAM) at Sobi serves as the primary point of contact for healthcare professionals in the San Antonio territory, responsible for driving sales demand and executing marketing strategies for Sobi's hematology products. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, this role demands a deep understanding of both Sobi’s portfolio and the hematology therapeutic landscape, with a focus on ethical promotion and regulatory compliance.
What You'll Do
- Act as the primary customer contact for sales demand creation by executing marketing strategy and promoting Sobi products as led by the Regional Sales Director
- Provide current and comprehensive clinical knowledge of Sobi’s products
- Effectively communicate the on-label clinical benefits of Sobi products to healthcare professionals
- Achieve territory sales by executing Plan of Action (POA) marketing strategies
- Deliver branded sales messages to customers
- Represent Sobi at local meetings
- Achieve or exceed sales targets
- Represent Sobi’s products and services to a defined customer base
- Generate and grow sales within a specific geographic area
- Promote the appropriate use of Sobi products in accordance with Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines
- Develop and implement a territory business plan to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals
- Conduct weekly analysis of territory sales data to prioritize physician targeting
- Ensure accurate reporting of physicians
- Maintain strict compliance with all regulatory agencies, state, and federal laws
- Prepare territory budget plans for customer contacts, local symposia, and other external expenditures
- Assist in the identification and resolution of issues and opportunities
- Proactively communicate issues and opportunities to sales and marketing management
- Report all adverse events to Sobi’s Drug Safety department as required by guidelines
- Perform all administrative functions including timely reporting of call activity and customer information into the appropriate call reporting system
- Submit expenses and complete other administrative tasks required for the position
What We're Looking For
- Must reside within the San Antonio territory
- Comprehensive understanding of Sobi and competitor products in their therapeutic area
- In-depth knowledge of the disease states related to Sobi’s products
- Ability to develop and implement a territory business plan
- Ability to analyze territory sales data weekly to prioritize physician targeting
- Strict compliance with all regulatory agencies, state, and federal laws
- Ability to prepare budget plans for customer contacts and external expenditures
- Ability to identify and resolve issues and opportunities and communicate proactively with management
- Must report all adverse events to Sobi’s Drug Safety department per required guidelines
- Must perform all administrative duties including call reporting and expense submission
