Helly Hansen, part of Kontoor Brands, Inc., is seeking a Key Account Manager for Workwear Footwear to lead the US wholesale team in developing and servicing key footwear accounts across the country. This remote position involves driving sales, building strong customer relationships, executing marketing initiatives, and serving as a brand ambassador for Helly Hansen’s workwear footwear line, with up to 60% travel, including weekends and international trips.
What You'll Do
- Create and manage appointment calendars with new and existing retailers/distributors
- Prepare for and execute line presentations
- Identify marketing needs and implement marketing tools to maximize brand presence
- Deliver product clinics and provide training to retail staff to maximize sell-through
- Ensure orders are taken, placed, audited, and correct discounts are applied
- Take advantage of sales program opportunities
- Troubleshoot issues with customer service to ensure a smooth brand experience
- Build, maintain, and manage brand relationships with retailers/distributors
- Identify retailer/distributor needs and troubleshoot product or order issues
- Support sell-through initiatives in-store and online
- Execute events, signage, and brand storytelling
- Attend all relevant trade shows and support setup and teardown
- Forecast and achieve preseason and ASAP sales targets
- Work closely with the planner to manage business and forecast growth
- Identify retailers/distributors to cultivate relationships with for scaling and growth
- Execute strategy plans to meet brand targets
- Proactively manage and identify opportunities to get back on track if targets are off course
- Plan and achieve quarterly service and clinic goals for all retailers/distributors
- Adopt and evolve processes and tools to update forecasts
- Schedule meetings appropriately
- Unpack and prepare samples for presentation
- Work closely with internal staff to meet needs
- Collaborate with internal teams on new ideas and ways to grow and evolve the business model and service needs
What We're Looking For
- Seven plus years of experience in the US workwear footwear market
- Road rep experience
- Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, including weekends
- Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships
- Demonstrated results in executing multiple projects on a seasonal basis
- Excellent process management skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Team and customer service attitude and mentality
- No task too small or too big mentality
- Pioneering, new account development
- Significant exposure to forecasting and analytical management processes
- EDI, SPS, Teams, PowerPoint, Excel experience
- Valid passport

Compensation: $95–120k base salary plus 20% bonus target tied to meeting performance goals.
Work Mode
Remote position with up to 60% travel, including international travel. Two master showrooms in Seattle and Denver support key account business. Role is based in the United States with global collaboration.
