Vitals is hiring a Head of Product, Shopify Apps to lead product strategy and team at our leading Shopify app company. You will be responsible for product-led growth, building apps used by 150+ million people, and shaping the future of Shopify commerce.

What You'll Do

• Define and own the product vision & strategy, aligning with business goals and merchant success.
• Own product-driven growth outcomes: drive activation, retention, expansion, and ARPU improvements.
• Build and lead the product team: hire, mentor, and manage Product Managers.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across engineering, design, marketing, and customer success.
• Champion customer-first discovery processes.
• Scale product execution across a portfolio of 40+ embedded apps and features.
• Promote product excellence to maintain Vitals' reputation.
• Experiment with AI-powered solutions, encouraging prototyping and iteration.

What We're Looking For

• Multi-company product experience across product-led companies (startup and/or scale-up).
• Proven product leadership: 10-15+ years in product roles, including at least 3–5 years leading product teams in SaaS or e-commerce.
• Deep understanding of the Shopify ecosystem.
• Technical fluency to talk to engineers and guide technical decisions.
• AI-first mindset: actively integrate AI into daily workflow for discovery, research, and prototyping.
• Analytical & user-focused, using data and customer insights to guide decisions.
• Strategic & executional balance.
• Excellent communicator with structured writing and storytelling.
• Org builder experience establishing product processes and scaling teams in a startup environment.
• Startup mindset: high energy, bias towards action, ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environment.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience launching or scaling Shopify apps.
• Experience building AI-driven consumer or SaaS products.
• Strong UI/UX sense with ability to sketch or prototype interfaces.
• Familiarity with Shape Up or other outcome-based product development frameworks.

Team & Environment

You will build and scale the product organization within a small, agile team, reporting directly to the founders and leadership.
