Alstom is looking for a Head of Human Resources to join our team in Bangkok, Thailand. In this full-time role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping and implementing HR strategies that align with our global vision while directly supporting the development of our Thailand team. You will drive the People Management Cycle, foster a constructive social environment, and lead key efforts in workforce planning, recruitment, and employee development.
What You'll Do
- Support the development and implementation of the global HR strategy at a country level in line with the local business strategy.
- Ensure efficient implementation of global and local HR processes, policies, and tools.
- Coach and advise the Thailand Country Management team and People Managers on HR-related matters.
- Promote Alstom’s Code of Ethics and values while fostering a positive company image.
- Analyze HR data to address key issues such as attrition, staffing, employee performance, and training.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations and maintain constructive labor relations.
- Work closely with teams across the business, such as Talent Acquisition, Employee Services, and Senior Leadership.
- Provide guidance on leadership and organizational development.
What We're Looking For
- University degree in human resources, psychology, business studies, social science, or economics.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar HR generalist role within a professional, multinational, or multicultural environment.
- Proven expertise in recruitment and selection, workforce planning, and labor cost budgeting.
- Strong understanding of HR management tools, policies, processes, and best practices.
- Good knowledge of local labor laws.
- Fluency in English.
- Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and influencing skills.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
- Proactive, adaptable, and committed to excellence.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to handle complex situations with sound judgment.
- Global and cultural awareness.
