HSBC is looking for a Head of Credit Services to lead the Credit and Lending Operations/Transaction Services function. You will be responsible for managing resources, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
What You'll Do
- Manage, develop, and implement processes for Credit and Lending Operations/Transaction Services.
- Oversee the performance of onshore and offshore processing teams, ensuring tasks meet Service Level Agreements and regulatory requirements.
- Manage resources, work schedules, and budgetary planning for the units.
- Build and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, representing Operations and Servicing.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digitalisation.
- Provide management guidance and ownership for change initiatives and assigned projects.
- Contribute to training and competence development programs to improve service quality and regulatory compliance.
- Maintain HSBC Internal Control standards, mitigate risk, and implement action plans for audit findings.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in a related field.
- 10 years of working experience in banking, finance, or a related field.
- A proven track record in managing multi-workstream and cross-organisational/geographical business.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to provide direction to achieve goals.
- Excellent planning, time management, and resource management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with business heads, senior management, and stakeholders.
- A positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of regulatory trends and developments.
- Experience in project management or change programmes involving technology and operations.
- Fluency in spoken and written Thai and English.
Team & Environment
You will be responsible for managing a team that includes both onshore and offshore processing teams.
