Lola Blankets is looking for a Manager, Payroll Operations to join our Global Payroll Operations team. This role is central to our mission, as you will own the planning and implementation of our payroll chapter, ensuring personal impact in the global employment space.
What You'll Do
- Own the complete payroll function, ensuring payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with country-specific government regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between internal and external stakeholders on all payroll-related matters.
- Lead the Payroll team, providing support and removing obstacles.
- Stay current with various international payroll laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate and country-specific regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage existing relationships with payroll, accounting, and payroll service providers.
- Develop and implement best practices, key performance indicators, and SLA metrics for the team.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in regional and global payroll operations.
- Understanding of global payroll best practices.
- Experience implementing payroll in multiple countries and managing relationships with third-party payroll services.
- A passion for managing people and leading teams without micromanagement.
- Proficiency in using software tools like SAP and Excel / Google Sheets.
- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.
- A productivity-focused approach with a constant drive to improve and speed up your work.
- Understanding of the need and ideal to work largely asynchronously.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
