Lola Blankets is hiring a Payroll Operations Manager to lead our Global Payroll Operations team. This role is central to ensuring our international teams are paid accurately, on time, and in full compliance with local regulations. You will own the planning and implementation of our payroll chapter, driving efficiency and impact.
What You'll Do
- Lead, mentor, and support the Payroll team, providing guidance and removing obstacles.
- Own the complete payroll function, ensuring payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with country-specific regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all payroll-related matters.
- Stay current with international payroll laws and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate and country-specific regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Manage relationships with payroll, accounting, and third-party payroll service providers.
- Develop and implement best practices, key performance indicators, and SLA metrics for the team.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in regional and global payroll operations.
- Understanding of global payroll best practices.
- Experience implementing payroll in multiple countries and managing relationships with third-party payroll services.
- A passion for managing people without micromanaging.
- Proficient in using SAP, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.
- A productivity-focused approach, constantly seeking ways to improve and speed up work.
- An understanding of and preference for asynchronous work.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
