Lola Blankets is looking for a Payroll Manager to join our Global Payroll Operations team. You will own the planning and implementation of our payroll function, ensuring accurate and compliant operations in a fast-paced, international environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead and mentor the Payroll team, providing guidance and support.
- Own the complete payroll function, ensuring payroll is processed on time, accurately, and in compliance with country-specific government regulations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all payroll-related matters.
- Manage relationships with payroll, accounting, and payroll service providers.
- Ensure compliance with all corporate and country-specific regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Develop and implement best practices, key performance indicators, and SLA metrics for the team.
- Stay up to date with various international payroll laws and regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience in regional and global payroll operations.
- Understanding of global payroll best practices.
- Experience implementing payroll in multiple countries and managing relationships with third-party payroll services.
- Passion for managing people without micromanaging.
- Proficiency in using software tools like SAP and Excel / Google Sheets.
- An analytical mindset with great problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, international work environment with a passion for making an impact.
- A productivity-focused approach, constantly seeking ways to improve and speed up work.
- Understanding of the need and ideal to work largely asynchronously.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
