Johnson Controls is hiring a Government Account Manager to manage relationships and drive revenue growth with government clients, including federal, state, and city accounts. This is a remote position based in the US.
What You'll Do
- Generate sales, leads, and identify opportunities within your account base for growth.
- Work to increase revenue from current accounts.
- Ensure clients are fully aware of our solutions.
- Partner with Marketing to create leads.
- Cross sell and upsell an assigned installed base of customers.
- Increase customer satisfaction by understanding business needs and recommending FM:Systems solutions.
- Work closely with Customer Success Managers to drive customer satisfaction.
- Create a strong referral network from your assigned accounts.
- Expand current contract values through upselling additional software services.
- Utilize Sales Force and work closely with clients to forecast and track sales opportunities.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience.
- 5+ years of account management experience working with public sector clients.
- Technical aptitude working with software solutions.
- Strong relationship management and cross functional communications.
- Experience with industries: Federal, State and local government.

- Competitive benefits package.
- Compensation range: $86,000 - $115,000.
