Solenis is looking for a Global Trade Compliance Specialist to be responsible for driving compliance across multiple regions. In this role, you will focus on resolving complex customs issues, ensuring accurate tariff classification and export controls, and participating in audits and projects.
What You'll Do
- Analyze and resolve customs compliance challenges, providing practical and compliant solutions to management and business partners.
- Ensure accurate tariff code classification and compliance with country of origin determination and export controls.
- Contribute to Global Trade Compliance projects and lead or support audits to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Respond to queries from internal teams, import/export agents, and customs brokers across various regions.
- Gather and analyze data for the submission of recovery claims related to customs compliance.
- Conduct training sessions on global trade compliance topics to ensure best practices across the organization.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5+ years of experience in customs compliance, with a focus on tariff classification, export controls, and country of origin determination.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with SAP and Global Trade Management systems.
- Proven ability to navigate customs regulations and resolve complex compliance issues.
- Ability to work in a multinational company with a remote, cross-functional team.

- Customs-related certifications (e.g., licensed customs broker).
