Role Overview
This position supports the Information Technology & Transformation and Continuous Improvement (ITCI) function based in Mexico City. The Sr. Associate plays a central role in financial planning and analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across key financial processes including forecasting, month-end close, procurement, and annual planning cycles.
Key Responsibilities
- Update and maintain monthly service cost forecasts using the Reveal Forecast platform
- Lead forecast review sessions with department leads and submit finalized projections to Finance
- Compare actual spending against forecasted figures and establish clear reconciliation methods
- Calculate personnel-related expenses and support month-end financial closing procedures
- Track financial variances and deliver clear explanations to internal stakeholders
- Coordinate with Finance during monthly closing periods
- Prepare accrual estimates for purchase orders and submit manual adjustments
- Support leadership with variance analysis and financial performance assessments
- Work with Finance to ensure compliance for external service providers
- Oversee hardware maintenance costs and software amortization schedules
- Update and maintain purchase order accrual records and documentation
- Facilitate vendor setup and updates, including payment and banking details
- Route Statements of Work and Master Service Agreements for authorized signatures
- Manage general ledger reclassifications and intercompany submissions
- Extract historical financial data and consolidate inputs for planning templates
- Coordinate planning reviews with functional leaders and submit final plans to Finance
- Ensure correct mapping of general ledger accounts and system-level calculations
- Serve as Application Process Manager for the Forecast tool
- Support demand planning, project cost tracking, and capital expenditure reporting
- Distribute internal capital order reports and assist with depreciation calculations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in financial operations, ideally within an IT or corporate finance setting
- Advanced English proficiency required
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong experience with financial systems such as Reveal, SAP, and Guided Buying
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
