Role Overview
This position is responsible for driving sales performance across a designated territory in Ajmer, with a dedicated focus on diabetes care products within the Established Pharma Division. The ideal candidate will operate with autonomy, managing field activities and stakeholder interactions to meet and exceed sales goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver on assigned sales targets by geography, ensuring consistent performance in the designated region
- Conduct independent field visits with minimal daily oversight, maintaining a structured and results-driven approach
- Log daily field activities and outcomes through the designated digital platform
- Meet or exceed benchmarks for call volume, territory coverage, and visit frequency
- Drive product adoption by engaging healthcare professionals and supporting prescription growth
- Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders including physicians, pharmacists, and distributors
- Represent the brand effectively and align promotional efforts with divisional strategy
- Support strategic planning initiatives through on-ground market insights
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates must hold a BSc or B. Pharma degree as a minimum qualification. A minimum of two years of relevant field experience is required, with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and confidently.
Prior experience in diabetes or a related therapeutic area is highly valued. Candidates currently working with multinational corporations or leading Indian pharmaceutical firms will be given preference. Exceptional fresh graduates with strong analytical and communication skills may also be considered.
Work Environment
This is an onsite role based in Ajmer, Rajasthan, with full travel requirements across the assigned territory. While the position demands physical presence in the region, certain operational flexibility may be available within defined parameters.
